On November 3, 2018, graduate students from Ryerson University under the direction of Prof. Colin Ripley led a Design Charrette at the University of Waterloo for 32 enthusiastic Stratford citizens. Members of the SACC, plus independent artists, municipal politicians and interested citizens were asked to provide their ideas about how the proposed Stratford Arts and Culture Centre might look if it was built at the Grand Trunk Community Hub on the Cooper site. The students presented their designs to an appreciative audience on May 11, 2019.
