2025 saw SACC continue with its 2 missions:
First, its quest for an affordable community-based auditorium at the Grand Trunk site SACC continued meetings with the YMCA, Stratford Public Library and the City of Stratford to advocate and collaborate for this much needed performance space.
Second, in order to further our mission to support local arts organizations, SACC engaged a TipTapPay stand and handheld device that were successfully used by arts organizations and service clubs to raise money for their needs. Similar to tipping at a restaurant, the devices were used at freewill and ticketed events. SACC will continue to offer this service to the community in 2026
SACC held 2 fundraising events in 2025:
September welcomed Ron James back to the Avon Theatre with his current comedy hit, Not Nearly Done Yet! With his trademark poetically charged alliterative rants, Ron performed for over 2 hours with razor sharp timing keeping the Stratford audience on a marathon roller coaster ride in the language of laughs, charting a course through a politically polarized world out of whack.

December saw the return of A Stratford Christmas to the Festival Theatre stage. The production was under the direction of David Hogan with Mark Payne returning as Music Director.
Hosted this year by David Rogers, Sheila McCarthy and Monique Lund, the audience was swept away with the Christmas spirit.

As with past years, the show featured world-class musical artists from Stratford and beyond as well as surprises and seasonal fun.

The audience was once again treated to new songs and old favourites of various genres including our young special guests, Flight Children’s Choir.

SACC is in the planning stages for more fundraising events in 2026 along with furthering the work needed at the Grand Trunk site and assisting local organizations with their fundraising efforts.
