MISSION STATEMENT
To use our resources effectively to create meaningful arts and culture experiences in Stratford for our community and surrounding areas.

OUR VALUES
• Honouring and enhancing the city’s artistic and cultural life
• Collaboration with other like-minded organizations
• Inclusion of all Stratford citizens in our planning, regardless of their age, income, religious or
ethnic origins, or any other visible or invisible identifier.

OUR ARTISTIC BELIEFS
The Arts and Culture Collective is founded on these core beliefs:
• The arts are a vital part of Canada’s and Stratford’s daily life
• The arts are for all citizens
• The arts are transformational, and challenge our perceptions to help us grow individually and
collectively
• The arts are both traditional and non-traditional.

The Stratford Arts and Culture Collective is pleased to acknowledge the support of organizations and agencies which have given financial assistance to the Stratford Arts and Culture Collective.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that Stratford is positioned on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and the Neutral (Attawandaron) peoples. As we work together, we are reminded that the City of Stratford is situated on treaty land that is steeped in rich Indigenous history and is home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples today. We acknowledge that Stratford is situated on land that was shared among the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and the Neutral (Attawandaron) peoples. We are grateful to have the opportunity to live, work, and play on this land.
